With Taj 51 Buckingham Gate, I am always assured that service will score 1000 out of 100. Not only do the people at Taj exceed your expectation by 10 times, but they treat you like their family, with compassion and dedication unparallel to any hotel in the world!! I am so overwhelmed by my experience. I am a devoted Marriot Bonvoy member who prefers the Ritz or a Marriot brand/Partner Hotel in a new city--except when I am in London. Taj will be my go-to hotel--always. I specifically want to give a huge shout-out to these amazing people-- Mohit, for making the check-in process very welcoming (last year I had expressed my slight disappointment that check-in was less personal, and this year, the change already went into action--what a difference). Amit for ensuring that our booking process was stress-free and there was no conflict due to double booking-- we found a last-minute upgrade in room size. A huge thanks to Shubham for ensuring that our breakfast and special meals could meet the dietary restrictions of my elderly mother. He was there every single day, at the Kona Cafe, to meet and greet all his guests. Tapan, who was on night duty, helped us arrange an emergency visit to St Thomas--the local hospital. And a very big thanks to Ron-- he made special efforts to come to visit my mother with flowers after she came back from the hospital. He sent a fruit platter to our room and came to revisit her before we left but more than that he was always there to help out. Lana for meeting all the in-room needs of my family. Gabriella at Kona Cafe and Harsh took care of us while were there. I am sorry, I forgot the name of other staff members, but there was not a single person at Taj who made us feel less than VIPs. Nelson took care of our tours and Tibor, as always rushed to get the Taxi for us when we left for outings. I wish I could give 10 stars in every single category. We love you all @Taj!!

From the warm greetings upon arrival to the attentive service throughout, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and personalized approach made me feel valued and well-cared for. I highly recommend staying here for a truly unforgettable experience, where the exceptional staff sets a new standard in hospitality, the ladies at the spa took care of me and my mom while i was sick. The people who checked us in and out were amazing by accommodating our needs and offering workaround solutions for a very late checkout. The staff at the in room dyeing and most of all the cleaning staff they were the actual heroes of the whole experience. I love them all from the moment we walked until we left we were treated like one of their own families. This is my real honest opinion

The concierges were especially knowledgable about transportation and restaurants and were interested in what we were seeing and doing. My enquiries to them before we arrived were answered promptly and with a personal touch. Our rooms were spacious, spotless and very well appointed, including the kitchen. There were a lot of little touches: Guard teddy bears on arrival, fruit in the room, cookies for the kids with their names on them, an unexpected birthday cake and Prosecco, turndown service. This is a family friendly (we had three from five to nine) but elegant place with the perfect location for sightseeing.

Great for families. The suite was big and was stocked with everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. All the restaurants are family-friendly, the staff are very kind, the building is beautiful. The interior of the room looked better in person than in the pictures (Minister suite). Very comfortable and clean. The location is quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes walking from the main sights. It was easy with a baby in a stroller and a 4 year old. The on-site restaurants where we ate (Kona and Quilon) did a great job accommodating my difficult dietary restrictions. It was a perfect experience!

I must mention the Deputy Duty Manager- Sanya who was exceptional in the way she treated us and is a real asset to the hotel. Whilst her team were sorting out my reservation mishap, Sanya put us at ease straight away and took all the pressure off us. We will never forget this wonderful experience and will definitely return again! Thank you whole heartedly to the Taj team.
