Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences

Great location to Victoria station, lovely size room with everything we needed. Unlike most hotels we stay in now days there was plenty of bottled water available. Breakfast was fantastic.

With Taj 51 Buckingham Gate, I am always assured that service will score 1000 out of 100. Not only do the people at Taj exceed your expectation by 10 times, but they treat you like their family, with compassion and dedication unparallel to any hotel in the world!! I am so overwhelmed by my experience. I am a devoted Marriot Bonvoy member who prefers the Ritz or a Marriot brand/Partner Hotel in a new city--except when I am in London. Taj will be my go-to hotel--always. I specifically want to give a huge shout-out to these amazing people-- Mohit, for making the check-in process very welcoming (last year I had expressed my slight disappointment that check-in was less personal, and this year, the change already went into action--what a difference). Amit for ensuring that our booking process was stress-free and there was no conflict due to double booking-- we found a last-minute upgrade in room size. A huge thanks to Shubham for ensuring that our breakfast and special meals could meet the dietary restrictions of my elderly mother. He was there every single day, at the Kona Cafe, to meet and greet all his guests. Tapan, who was on night duty, helped us arrange an emergency visit to St Thomas--the local hospital. And a very big thanks to Ron-- he made special efforts to come to visit my mother with flowers after she came back from the hospital. He sent a fruit platter to our room and came to revisit her before we left but more than that he was always there to help out. Lana for meeting all the in-room needs of my family. Gabriella at Kona Cafe and Harsh took care of us while were there. I am sorry, I forgot the name of other staff members, but there was not a single person at Taj who made us feel less than VIPs. Nelson took care of our tours and Tibor, as always rushed to get the Taxi for us when we left for outings. I wish I could give 10 stars in every single category. We love you all @Taj!!

Great for families. The suite was big and was stocked with everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. All the restaurants are family-friendly, the staff are very kind, the building is beautiful. The interior of the room looked better in person than in the pictures (Minister suite). Very comfortable and clean. The location is quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes walking from the main sights. It was easy with a baby in a stroller and a 4 year old. The on-site restaurants where we ate (Kona and Quilon) did a great job accommodating my difficult dietary restrictions. It was a perfect experience!

I’ve been in London for five months for medical treatment and almost tried most of the hotels, and I can say it’s the best! the room is clean and the staff always checking each time it’s cleaned (twice a day) I think the supervisor name is Jithu and all the staff are perfect .. the reception very friendly and the Resturant staff is professional and the food always fresh and tasty even the in room dining ( regards to the chef) honestly it’s the perfect place to stay in in London thank you for everything

The staff were all very polite and welcoming, the room was spotlessly clean and well maintained, lovely courtyard. Concierge services were excellent as well as the reception team.
